At the Rumpington Academy of Badgering, the paws of progress are marching forward! This term heralds an amazing new invention for the Badger Operated Person! The Snout-Activated Oscillating Hypnotiser!  

But Lulu Whifferton-Rear finds herself standing out for all the wrong reasons. Professor Briskwhiskers (maverick inventor and jolly good fellow) seems to have taken quite a dislike to her.
